Select Section - Excellent Dissertation Award for the Youth

Skyray Instrument Cup - Excellent Dissertation Award for the Youth, which lasted for 4 months, ended on October 31, 2010. Excellent Dissertation Award for the Youth has received substantial support from the participators and now it enters discuss and select section. Then, our corporation’s Deputy General Manager Mr. Hu Xiaobin, R&D department, Deputy General Manager Mr. Yu Zhengdong, Technical Department, Dr. Yao Dongliang from Application & Research Center and other project managers, together with the experts and the professors invited, will participate in the select section.

      Above a hundred of dissertations have been submitted to our corporation, some of which are rather professional and practical. Appraisal section will finish at the end of November and the appraisal committee will discuss and select the top three dissertations. The award has the 1st prize, the 2nd prize and the 3rd prize and will select 21 winners. Only the first writer of the dissertation will be awarded: 3 winners for the 1st prize, 5000 RMB per person; 6 winners for the 2nd prize, 3000 RMB per person; 12 winners for the 3rd prize, 1500 RMB per person.

criteria for assessment of the dissertations:
1. Dissertation subject shall be around the latest analytical technologies in Spectroscopy, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry;
2. Theoretical or methodological significance, innovation and progress;
3. Solid data support, scientific methodology, meticulous reasoning and accurate interpretation of words;
4. Research shall be prominent among the similar studies, driving significant progress in the research subject.
