On January 14th, 2011, awarding ceremony of “Scholarship and Grants” for Year of 2009-2010 was held in College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University. Academician Mr. Xu Guangxian from China Academy of Sciences, Ms. Li Rong, Undersecretary of Education Foundation, Undersecretary Zha Jing of Student Affair Department, Deputy Secretary Sun Liqiang of University Youth League Committee, Director Yang Aimin of Students Patronage Center, College President Wu Kai, Party Secretary Liu Huwei, Vice President Zhu Tao and VP Fu Xuefeng, Party Undersecretary Ma Yuguo, Youth League Committee Secretary Bai Yu were invited to the awarding ceremony. Party Undersecretary Zhang Li hosted the ceremony and our corporation’s Deputy General Manager Mr. Yu Zhengdong attended the ceremony to present scholarship and grants on behalf of Skyray Instrument.

At the beginning, College President Wu Kai gave a welcome speech to all invited guests. He said, the scholarship and relevant programs are significant to talent cultivation in college and he also hoped that, the awarded students should study harder in college and requisite the society after graduation. Year of 2011 is International Year of Chemistry, College President Wu Kai called on the students to be more initiative and creative in this year, contributing more to the development of Chemistry subject.

He also recognized the achievements of College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering while hoping the college could achieve more in research studies, academic innovation and talent education, etc.

Our corporations Deputy General Manager Mr. Yu Zhengdong, on behalf of Skyray Instrument, awarded the scholarship and grants to the students with best scores in academy. He also stated his sincere wishes towards all students. The education of students majoring in analysis subject has always been our corporations great concern. Skyray Instrument is always shouldering the responsibility of developing analytical industry as our own.

Later, Party Secretary Liu Huwei made a speech. He said, the establishment of scholarships in College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering assured the studying conditions of all students and encouraged the students to finish their schooling with best scores. He hoped that, the award-winner students could inherit and develop the college tradition, studying harder for a better future of College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering.
