2011 Shandong Symposium of Analytical Technologies Closes Successfully

On March 25, “2011 Shandong Symposium of Analytical Technologies” was held in Jinan International Convention & Exhibition Center and so was the inauguration of “Skyray Instrument – Shandong Training Base”. The symposium was organized by Shandong Analytical Testing Association. About 80 analytical personnel from Shandong Province Experimental Institute of Geological Sciences, Shandong Public Security Bureau, Medicine Research Institute and companies attended the meeting.

      Director Liu Jianhua from Shandong Analytical Testing Association gave his speech at the inauguration of “Skyray Instrument – Shandong Training Base”. He hoped that, after half a years preparation, the training base would become a contributive factor to the growth of analytical technologies in Shandong. He also noted, more cooperation with domestically-leading manufacturers would be made to give an impetus to the growth of China’s analytical instruments and analytical technologies.

       Our corporations marketing director Tang Jian introduced our corporations development, R&D strength, training base distribution, technical services and sales system, etc.

       Later, technical speeches and case studies were held around hazardous substances testing, minerals prospecting and food safety.

Academic report

       Our corporations Deputy General Manager Yu Zhengdong gave two reports on hazardous substances testing and food safety issues: Latest Methods for Testing Hazardous Substances, Latest Methods for Environment and Food Safety.

      In accordance with the market features and demand in Shandong, our Application Research Center Director Dr. Yao Dongliang introduced the new solution for Application of Analytical Instruments in Mining Industry. He put forward his solutions for mining and prospecting using our corporations products and introduced our Handheld XRF products used by governmental clients in Qinghai and Hunan provinces.

       The establishment of Shandong Training Base expands our training bases nationwide and provides more training opportunities for analytical personnel.
