The Second “Skyray Instrument Youth Paper Award” officially open

The second “Skyray Instrument Youth Paper Award” officially opened on July 1. Youth Paper Award is specially designed by Skyray Instrument to support the development of scientific instrument industry and promote the academic communication of insiders. By means of the platform of “Original Works Competition of Scientific Instruments Network”, “Skyray Instrument” Youth Paper Award is held for the second time. In the competition of 2010, Skyray has received more than 50 excellent original works and has invited authorized experts to estimate the awards. The second Youth Paper Award started to receive papers from the public from July 1, 2011.

The essay time for this competition is from July 1, 2011 to October 31, 2011, the election and prize presentation time is in December.

The type and standards:

1. The topic of the essay are about the hot and difficult topics of spectroscopy, chromatography and mass spectrometry (MS), which has important theory and realistic meaning.
2. The essay has great creation and development in the testing theory, techniques and application methods.
3. The data of the thesis must be substantial, the methods must be scientific, the reasoning must be strict and the expression must be exact.
4. The research result must be leader of the similar research, which has a positive effect on the development of academic and this industry.

Award conditions:

1. Employees of analytical test and related industries, teachers and students of colleges and universities, staff of research institutions and researchers of state enterprises and institutions can take part in this competition.
2. The age of the first author must be below 35 when he or she published the essay, which is related to the testing techniques and the essays published in academic seminar can also participate in the competition.
3. The participants must promise that he or she has the works ownership. If found plagiarism, the selection qualification will be cancelled. If it is involved with legal obligation, you have to deal with it by yourself.
4. Everyone is limited to one paper, forbidding contributing the same essay for two times or more.
5. If the quality or quantity can’t meet the related requirements, the Skyray Instrument can cancel the competition.

The Awards:

The current Skyray Instrument Youth Paper Award will set the first prize, the second prize and the third prize, 21 in total, awarding the first author only. The first prize winner will win 5000 per person, the second for 3000, and the third for 1500.

The participating methods:

• Put your essay on “Skyray Instrument forum” of the instrument information net in the form of posting. When putting your essay, please choose the “the fourth original works” in the keywords options and made your title, content and overview clear. (This is to prove whether the essay participates for one or not.)
