On September 1st, the Third Academic Exchange Meeting of Environmental Safety Testing Instrument Branch Institute is held in CIEC. Wu Shenghai, deputy director of Skyray Instrument Research Department, participates in it and gives reports on the meeting.
It is sponsored by Environmental Safety Testing Instrument Branch Institute of Chinese Instrument Institute, aiming at promoting exchanges and cooperation in the field of environmental safety testing and further promoting the technical innovations and developments in this field.
Main members who taking part into this meeting are Xie Pinhua, researcher from An Hui CSIST, Zhao Shunping, vice director of National Radiation Environmental Monitoring Center, Yuan Hongyong, professor from Public Safety Research Center of Qing Hua University, Fan Shifu, professor from Tian Jing University, Yi Wei, researcher from Bei Jin Chemical Research Institute, and other deputies of all major instrument manufacturers, totally more than 100 people.
Wu Shenghai, doctor from Skyray Instrument, gives a report named “Newest Research on Application of XRF in Heavy Metals Testing”, detailing the testing technologies to Soil, Water Quality, and Atmosphere. He points out that XRF, which bears features of in-situ, non-destructive, and rapid, can be used for precise testing in labs and rapid outside testing. With highly integrated patent detector and XFR multi-channel analysis technology and atmosphere particulates sampling technology, Skyray achieves the online heavy metals testing in air or smog. The sensitivity of the detector accounts to 1ng/m3.
