Recently, the 2013 Academic Annual Meeting of Chinese Society For Environmental Sciences was hold in Kunming, Yunnan, with the theme of “environmental scientific innovation and ecological civilization construction”. About 2000 participants from provincial or municipal environmental monitor stations, environmental research institutes, colleges and universities attended the meeting which focuses on environmental protection, pollution detection and pollution control, etc.

Skyray Instrument, as a co-organizer of this meeting, received special concern from participating leaders and experts. Skyray’s chairman Dr. Liu, the deputy general manager and head of R&D dept. Dr. Wu Shenghai, Sales&Marketing Director Dr. Li Yunji all participated.
During the meeting, Mr. Wu Xiaoqing, the deputy minister of Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection, Mr. Zhao Yingmin, the director of Department of Science, Technology and Standards visited Skyray’s booth, and Dr. Liu introduced our products to them. Mr. Wu showed keen interest in Genius 9000 XRF Handheld Analyzer. Skyray technician demonstrated how to use it to analyze soil. It gave out test result after about ten seconds, which is rather accurate and rapid. Mr. Wu fully affirmed Skyray’s hi-tech innovation capacity and its achievement made in environmental field.

On a meeting with the theme of“Environmental Monitoring Technology and Informationization”, Dr. Wu Shenghai, the deputy general manager and head of R&D dept. made a report named “Environmental Heavy Metal Monitoring System”.
