On March 19th, “2012 Skyray Instrument Media Conference of New Products in Mass Spectrometer Series” was held ceremoniously in Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing. The company released three mass spectrometers of self research and development: GC-MS 6800 Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer, LC-MS1000 Liquid Chromatogram-Mass Spectrometer, ICP-MS2000 Inductive Coupling Plasma Mass spectrometer. The first show of three new products in Skyray mass spectrometer series attracted the focus of noted media.
The conference began in the afternoon of March 19th. Journalists and editors of over 30 mainstream media, such as Instrument Information Net, Analytical Chemistry magazine, Chinese Mining Industry Newspaper participated in this conference. President Dr. Liu Zhaogui, Marketing Director Tang Jian and Project Leader Dr. Zhou Li attended the conference and communicated with participant media.

The Media conference was presided by Marketing Director Mr. Tang Jian. He expressed his gratitude to the media who have given Skyray Instrument long-term attention and support. He said: “ Today is a day of deep significance to Skyray Instrument. Under the ardent attention and support of all walks of life, Skyray Instrument eventually brought out these three new products in mass spectrometer series after five years’ painstaking research.

In his address, president Dr. Liu Zhaogui described the reason of determination in launching the research project of mass spectrometer: “The Melamine Event in 2008 harmed children’s health or even life, which shocked media seriously. However, at that time, there was no such an instrument that can effectively detect melamine. I can use‘My mind was filled with bitter hatred.’to describe my mood at that time.” It was this enthusiasm in promoting the cause of national instrument that Skyray Instrument was determined to launch the research project of mass spectrometer. “ Three new products in mass spectrometer series finally came into the world after over five years’devoted research and they will receive the baptism of market.”

Later, under the witness of onsite media, the mass spectrometer Project Leader Zhou Li of Skyray Instrument unveiled the mysterious cover of the three new products in mass spectrometer series. In a report which lasted one and a half hours, Dr. Zhou Li gave an omnibearing introduction of the three instruments, which are GC-MS 6800、LC-MS 1000、ICP-MS 2000 from the perspectives of instrument theory, application area, products’ technical index, technical innovation points, actual detecting cases, building of the research team etc.

The atmosphere of the Media conference was warm and the questioning session lasted 2 hours. The onsite media put questions continuously specific to research motivation, technical breakthrough points, marketing positioning, marketing and promoting, after-sale service. Most of them expressed their blessing and expectation towards the new products in mass spectrometer series. “Skyray Instrument brought out three new products at the same time, which is a great breakthrough in the field of national analytical instrument. ”said professor Zhou Jinfan, the chief editor of Inspection and Quarantine Science and experienced analytical application expert, also gave a golden opinion to Skyray Instrument.
