From April 19th to 21st, “2012 Chinese Food Microbiology Testing Technology and Laboratory Management Conference”, sponsored by the Food Safety Monitoring Network and the League of Nations Resources Network, and co-sponsored by Skyray Instrument, was held in Suzhou. More than 100 officers from the Food and Drug Control Centers, Disease Control Centers, Quality Inspection Institutions, Scientific Research Institutions, Laboratories, Third-party Testing Agencies, Research Institutions and other units participated in this conference, and designed a tour in Skyray in the morning of April 21st
The conferees discussed in depth the recent food safety testing technologies and their applications. The project leader of Skyray Mass Spectrometer Project, Doctor Zhou Li gave a wonderful lecture on the application of GC-MS Technology in food safety testing. The next day, accompanied by the president of Skyray Instrument Dr. Richard Liu, the conferees visited Skyrays’s Product Show Room, Chemical Laboratory, Instrument Production Line, and Enterprise Wall of Honor and so on in succession.

In recent years, the continuous exposure of food safety issues like clenbuterol, melamine, toxic capsule and leather milk events has been the focus of the whole society. The construction and enhancement of food safety testing capability is imperative.
Skyray lays much stress on the development of food safety testing products and methods. By virtue of its deep and rich accumulation of testing technologies, Skyray responded quickly and provided more testing channels and methods actively for food safety testing when some major food safety issues like “food plasticizing agent”, “leather milk” and “clenbuterol” occurred. In the past few days, aiming at the newly exposed “chromium-tainted hollow drug capsule” event, Skyray carried out research on “chromium-tainted capsule detection” immediately, publicized and shared technologies and methods of testing heavy metals in gelatin hollow capsule, offered high efficient solution for all drug regulatory departments and pharmaceutical enterprises.
