On August 3rd afternoon, “the Signing Ceremony of Inspection, Study and Research Cooperation between Skyray Instrument and Jiangsu Precise Molds Quality Inspection Center (JPMQIC)” was held in the meeting room of JPMQIC. Both parties will launch a laboratory jointly, engaging in the application of WDX analytical technology in the detection of energy conservation building material.

Liu Caixi, the deputy director of Kunshan Science and Technology Bureau, Pan Wei, the deputy director of Kunshan Quality Supervision Bureau, Gao Huiming, the director of JPMQIC, Wang Luhua, the general secretary of Kunshan Molds Association etc., together with Skyray Instrument’s deputy general manager Xiao Tingliang, Director of Application R&D Center Dr. Yao Dongliang, Director of R&D Department Wu Shenghai, Vice director of R&D Department Zhou Xiaohui attended the signing ceremony.

The emerging green building material is quite preferable in current construction industry. However, realizing rapid mass detection is still a challenge. Through adequate experiments, wavelength dispersive spectrometers (WDX 200, WDX 400) self-developed by Skyray instrument is able to conduct rapid detection on mineral cotton, the emerging building thermal material. The preparation process is quite simple, only sample preparing and pressing, and the detection speed is greatly faster than frequently-used laboratory methods and ICP methods.

To launch laboratory this time, Skyray will provide instrument, technician, to develop WDX method on mineral cotton content detection together with JPMQIC. In the meanwhile, both parties intend to promote the draft and formation of relative standards.
