The first station of “Symposium Tour of Environment and Safety” by Skyray Instrument was first held in Xiamen on August 27th, 2010. Leaders and experts from Fujian Province Inspection and Quarantine Department, Environment Monitoring Department and other well-known companies participated in the symposium and joined discussion around several technical problems with our technical engineers.

Mr. Tang Jian, Marketing Director of our corporation, first introduced our corporate development, our latest products and corporate R&D progress, as well as marking activities. He noted that, Skyray Instrument, as the leading analytical instrument manufacturer in China, has been focusing on the development of SUPER XRF 1050 Analyzer, helping manufacturers of toys, shoe materials, leather, trunk and cases to meet the emerging new directives and new regulations.

Later, Mr. Yu Zhengdong, Vice General Manager and Senior Technical Engineer, lectured on Hazardous Substances in CPSIA and Testing Standard, stating regulations and standards established by other nations and arousing manufacturers’ awareness towards the safety of consumer’s products.

Mr. Yu Zhengdong gave lectures on the new testing method applied in toys, shoe materials, leather, trunk and cases. He also explained the application of SUPER XRF 1050, its features like low detection limit and unique excitation X-ray source, latest technological progress in testing consumer’s products in an explicit manner.
Comparison test
In order to enable the participating clients to know better about the performance of our instruments, the technical engineer used EDX1800B and SUPER XRF 1050 to conduct the testing and demonstrated the application of SUPER XRF 1050 in environment and safety industries. The participants analyzed the samples they took and our technical engineers made analysis of the testing results. The visitors all spoke highly of SUPER XRF 1050. After the intermission, Mr. Yu Zhengdong made a special report on “Solutions for Industries of Toy Safety, Jewelry, Shoe materials, Leather, Trunk and Cases”.
