On May 8, 2010, Mr. Xu Guanhua, academician and his colleagues of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China came to Kunshan for inspection accompanied by Mr. Wang Jinhua, Chairman of Suzhou Municipal Committee of CPPCC, Mr. Guan Aiguo, Vice Secretary of CPC Kunshan Municipal Committee and Mayor of Kunshan, Mr. Huang Jian, Vice Mayor of Kunshan, came to visit Skyray Instrument in Tsinghua Science Park.
As a private-owned scientific and technological enterprise of Jiangsu Province, Skyray Instrument has received substantial support and attention from the governments in all levels. With the focus from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Provincial Government and Suzhou Municipal Government, the first phase of Skyray Analytical and Measuring Instrument Industrial Park has been constructed within 3 years. As the first analytical and measuring instrument industrial park in China and even in the whole world, SAMIIP has displayed itself on the planning blueprint of Kunshan as an industrial park specializing in developing analytical and measuring instrument industry.

Then, Dr. Liu took our visitors around the exhibition hall. As a hi-tech enterprise dedicating to independent R&D, Skyray Instrument has self-developed a great variety of patented core components and our latest product Handheld X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer Pocket-III, all of which Mr. Xu Guanhua spoke highly.

Dr. Liu said that, support from the Ministry of Science and Technology was indispensable to the rapid development of Skyray Instrument. With Skyray Instrument going public soon, Skyray Instrument will definitely shoulder the responsibility of developing national analytical and measuring industry as our own.
